Where are you located?
Castle Storage Office is located at 2551 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703. We’re just off Highway 63.
Standard units are located at 2551 Logan Ave, and 2171 Diagonal St. Climate Controlled units are located at 300 Ansborough ave (lower level of AMS) and 306 Thorson Ave (attached to Onsite ShredIt)
What are your office hours?
The office is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday) and from 10:00 am to noon (Saturdays).
Will I have 24-hour access to my unit?
Castle Storage renters can get to their items any time of day (or night) they need to - seven days a week for standard units.
Climate Controlled units (CC or CCT) have access hours of 6am - 10 pm.
Will i get a refund when i move out?
Great question! As long as you give 3 days notice, the unit is left unlocked, cleaned out and swept we will return the deposit to the address on file. We do not prorate if you move out early,unless you are prepaid more than one month. We do not refund if you decide you do not need the unit after renting it online.
Can I store a vehicle here?
You sure can! Our ground-floor parking spaces will allow you to get your boat, RV and other vehicles safely stored while you’re away.
Can I pay online?
Yes, you can. Being able to pay their self-storage rent online saves our customers a lot of hassle, especially if they’re not residing in Waterloo. Moving is not always easy and it’s a huge relief to have one less thing to worry about. The gate updates hourly. First months rent is prorated and payment is due on the 1st of every month.
Will I get a security code to enter and exit the facility?
Yes, our property is secure with a fence and you will need a code to get access to your self-storage unit.The code and unit number are included in your lease agreement. The place is also equipped with a camera surveillance system and a variety of secure storage units, so tenants know their stuff is safe.
Is there a manager on duty?
Yes, there’s an area manager on site at 2551 Logan Ave. We also have an after-hours emergency line, which you can use to leave a voice mail if you run into any issues outside of business hours. Don’t hesitate to ask us for more information.
